Inspiration Source Material: This is a reinterpretation of a model featured in the October 1986 Honcho magazine. For further reference and a little extra fun, photos of the source material are provided in the photo gallery :)
Each art piece is hand-printed on an analog printing press with oil-based inks on archival paper. The circle is printed first with a “rainbow roll” on monotype plate. The linocut figures are then printed as an overlay to the circle. The process results in a beautiful embossment of both the figure, and the circle - I’ve included an image in the gallery as a visual reference.
**Each piece has some variation given the hand-printed nature of the work. Actual colors may vary slightly from the web photos. Artwork is sold as a loose print *without* a mat or frame (mat in photo is shown as a visual reference point.
