Inspiration: The iconic (and historic) Castro Theatre sign located in the Castro gayborhood (San Francisco).

Each piece is hand-printed on an analog printing press with oil-based inks on archival paper. The circle is printed first with a “rainbow roll” on a monotype plate. The linocut Castro sign is then printed as an overlay to the circle. The process creates a beautiful embossment of both the sign, and the circle.
